2012 (May 14 – 20) – Department of English for Sciences is organizing the 2-nd International Internet conference on “Multi - level language training in non-linguistic universities: current issues and further development”.

2011 (March 1-7) – 1-st International Practical Internet Conference "Multi-level language training in non-linguistic universities: Problems and Prospects"

2006- 2012 – The project on the development of new-generation EAP and ESP course books for students in sciences in collaboration with St Petersburg State University – ( “English for Academic Purposes”, “ English for Students in Physics” and “ English for Students in Biology”).

2004- 2005 – Development of the concept for creating new-generation EAP and ESP course books for non-linguistic higher schools in collaboration with “Academia” Publishing House and British Council.

2001- 2005 – RESPONSE project on” ESP teaching in non-linguistic higher schools of Russian Federation”- the professional development course for EFL teachers in non-linguistic higher schools of Russian Federation under the support of Russian Federation Ministry of Education and Science and British Council.

2000-2005 – Development of ESP syllabus for graduate students within the project “ Scientific-educational ecology-analytical center for systematic research, mathematical modeling and geo-ecological safety of the South of Russia” supported by the Russian Ministry of Education and the US Foundation of Civil Research and Development.
